Acquisition of the Power Transformers division of RITZ

TMC Transformers announces the acquisition of the Power Transformers division of RITZ instrument transformers GmbH.

TMC Transformers S.p.A. a leading manufacturer of medium and low voltage dry type transformers and reactors for special applications, such as drives, railway rolling stock, offshore, mining, renewable energy and oil & gas, through its German office, based in Frankfurt, announces the acquisition of the Power Transformers division of RITZ instrument transformers GmbH. This important strategic investment shall enable TMC to:
expand its special transformers offering;
meet the demands of rapidly-growing markets and applications.

In addition to the know-how and to the different technology transferred from RITZ, that will bring strong benefit to the company and its customers, TMC has also signed a cooperation and commercial agreement with RITZ Group: this strategic partnership will strengthen TMC Transformers’ business and expertise, expanding the company influence and presence globally, enlarging the product portfolio. The acquisition of RITZ follows those of Marnate Trasformatori, Officine Tironi and the imminent opening of the new plant TMC Low Voltage in Fabro.
